We'd like to know what you think about our Travel Guide to Heaven web site. Please leave your comments in this public guest book so we can share your thoughts with other visitors.
In the few short months that have passed since A Travel Guide to Heaven was published, I have received thousands of letters, emails and faxes from people who have read the book. The overwhelming majority of these have been extremely positive. Some have been beautiful and heartbreaking and have spoken about the pain of losing loved ones. Some have been respectful yet critical of my theology. A couple have been downright nasty! (But these were usually from folks who are repelled by the whole notion of God and Heaven to begin with.) No matter what the letters have said, though, ALL of them have been deeply appreciated. Whenever someone takes the time to write to me, I feel it is a great compliment, and I want to take the opportunity now to thank you.
Unfortunately, because of my heavy travel schedule, and because of the large volume of correspondence I am getting, it is literally impossible for me to personally respond to everyone. I want you to know, however, that I read every single comment that is posted on this contact page, every morning, no matter where in the world I happen to be. I read all of them with respect, interest, and gratitude. Some of them encourage me greatly, and give me a much-needed lift, as I make my way through these busy, exciting, but sometimes hectic days. Thank you all, again, very much.

Dear Mr. Stefano, I recently completed your book and found it thrilling. I thought your description of heaven was very detailed and gave me a good feeling knowing all that is to come.

Dear Mr. Stefano, i recently completed reading your book A Travel Guide To Heaven for my second level college Theology class. I must agree that despite having being dealt an entire book to read in the first week of classes, your book not only was a quick read, but also more importantly a fascinating and informative read. I have to commend you for taking on such a difficult task as describing the realm of Heaven. I cant imagine it being easy but you did in a way that presented itself as a way that was non-offensive and open to other notions and thoughts. I hope and wish that Heaven is what you make it out to be, although I find it hard for myself personally to commit myself to a single concept of what Heaven might be like, I would like to imagine it is similar to what you had described. In short I woud like to compliment you on your work as well as thank you for opening a new idea about Heaven to me. Sincerely, Julien.

I found it exciting and interesting that a book that says it’s not full of formal theology has so much of it! As a Theology major at St. John's University, I’ve read my share of books that are extremely dry and overly repetitious. “Travel Guide to Heaven” is certainly not one of those books! Tackling a difficult topic in theology like “heaven” can be quite a challenge, especially when the audience is not made up of readers who are generally well versed in church dogmatics. I’ve enjoyed the book so much that I’m lending my copy to a professor who teaches a course on Death and Resurrection. I think this book provides a fresh, reassuring perspective on a topic that is surrounded with so many questions of the faithful who never had a source that could answer ALL their basic questions. Besides giving a great Christian view of heaven, this book surely puts to rest the fears of many, who want to believe in the Kingdom, but need to be reassured a little further. I enjoyed the affirmative language of “Travel Guide to Heaven.” Readers aren’t getting a “wishy-washy” perception of heaven; what they are getting is a positive new view on what they already believe in (or want to believe in) as Christians, but never knew it or knew how. “Travel Guide” certainly takes us on that journey, and I don’t think any of us want to pick back up that baggage we left at the door. Thank you for giving us that gift!

i enjoyed reading your book. it was a quick and easy read. there are many authors who try to explain heaven but often leave you more confused than you were before. im very impressed about you're able to keep the reader interested on this topic. i like how you try to keep it simple so everyone understands it and stays interested. i would recommend your book to anyone.

"Travel Guide to Heaven" was a very interesting read. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The images you created with your words were outstanding!! My view of heaven was totally changed. I was forced to think about a lot of things. I also enjoyed the way the book was actually written. I never found it boring due to the number of clever remarks found in the text. I have never enjoyed a book of this nature so much. I do appreciate having the oppurtunity to read your work. Thanks!!

I enjoyed reading your book. It really was something different and I liked the easy and natural way in which you talked about the excitment of having heaven hear on earth. I think even though you gave such an optimistic and exaggerated liking for heaven, you backed it up well with referring to the messages expressed clearly in the bibile, therefore what you said didnt sound too exaggerated. Furthermore, I thank you for such a unique view and explanation of heaven and angels.

Mr. DeStefano, what a vivid imaginaton you have! In your book, which i finished after 3 days of receiving, you mentioned that in order to picture or even think of what heaven will be like we must think with a child's mind. Go back to the days where our minds made things more vivid rather than logical. I hope when i get to Heaven, whenever that time will be, that i will get to fulfill all my true desires. I have one question for you however, in "A Travel Guide to Heaven" you mentioned that when we talk to God or see God we won't be able to endure much of Him because He is so great but how will i come to know Him fully as a physical entity if i can't even see much of Him or speak to Him for to long? Anyway, i enjoyed the book and good luck on your future endeavors!

But i think you went a little to indepth with the hole thing because everyone has there own image of what heaven is like but its nice to know what you think its gonna be =)

I found this book to be incredibly enlightening. It answered questions about heaven and the afterlife that I didn't even know I had. A Travel Guide to Heaven opened my eyes to so many things I had never even thought about. One part I really found comforting was that we all have an angel beside us at all times, sort of like a "big brother". This book really put my mind at ease about many ideas and thoughts I had and was very enjoyable to read. It was also an easy read due to some of the witty remarks throughout the book and your down to earth language. I really did enjoy reading your book and will definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for providing me with such an uplifting book.

I thouroughly enjoyed reading A Travel Guide to Heaven. The way you analyzed the various information given to us in the Scriptures seemed so cleverly simple yet so intricately genious. What was most significant was the atmosphere you created about Heaven. I thought you accomplished what you sought out to from the beginning of the book; provide a fun understanding about Heaven. Thank you for the book.
