We'd like to know what you think about our Travel Guide to Heaven web site. Please leave your comments in this public guest book so we can share your thoughts with other visitors.
In the few short months that have passed since A Travel Guide to Heaven was published, I have received thousands of letters, emails and faxes from people who have read the book. The overwhelming majority of these have been extremely positive. Some have been beautiful and heartbreaking and have spoken about the pain of losing loved ones. Some have been respectful yet critical of my theology. A couple have been downright nasty! (But these were usually from folks who are repelled by the whole notion of God and Heaven to begin with.) No matter what the letters have said, though, ALL of them have been deeply appreciated. Whenever someone takes the time to write to me, I feel it is a great compliment, and I want to take the opportunity now to thank you.
Unfortunately, because of my heavy travel schedule, and because of the large volume of correspondence I am getting, it is literally impossible for me to personally respond to everyone. I want you to know, however, that I read every single comment that is posted on this contact page, every morning, no matter where in the world I happen to be. I read all of them with respect, interest, and gratitude. Some of them encourage me greatly, and give me a much-needed lift, as I make my way through these busy, exciting, but sometimes hectic days. Thank you all, again, very much.

I have just recently started this book, and so far it looks very good. I have been having a real hard time with God recently. First I was in a car accident 6 going on 7 years now, and I've been confined to wheelchair. If that was not bad enough my father just died about a month ago. My issue is how can God allow all this trouble for me and mother(whose been a saint through the whole ordeal)? I know He is not supposed to give us more than we can handle, but he is coming real close. Just thought I would drop you a note and tell you I'm looking forward to the journey.

Dear Dr. DeStefano; I was saddened to read of Rhonda’s death on your website. She was a dear friend to me. We called each oher “Pinky”, but she was always “Pinky Sue” to me, which just sounds EXTRA Texan. We parted in 2002, just as she was finishing her doctoral program. We parted on less than excellent terms for a number of reasons in both our lives and I lost track of her. For several years, I have wondered how to find her. Then this morning the light bulb went off. “How many Dr. Rhonda Sue Lewises will there be if I Google her?”. Surely, only one would be a school principle, a college professor or school district administrator. I looked forward to clearing the miscommunications we had suffered because of our brokenness, and enjoying once again the warm sisterhood we shared with each other for over 10 years. Thank you for being there for her at the end of her life. I believe she left behind a brother, an aunt, her mother and half-brother, as well as countless folks all over Texas, Arkansas and Pennsylvania who loved her so much. She believed in the power of God in our lives to take our brokenness and use that, rather than only our better angels, to make changes in the world for the better. I can give her my tears, and my support of other teachers with that belief in the holy power of broken clay vessels. I rejoice that I knew her. I remember also her love for her dog, a small German shepherd / Australian shepherd mix. She called her “Hang-tuff, mig-fighter, mug-tuff, muzzlett; the muzzledorf, Dusseldorf dog, l’ petit Berger Allemande, de mon couer.” Her official name was Muzzy. (Pardon my French spelling please, as I do not speak a word). I guess what I am saying is that Rhonda made a strong impression on all who knew her. She was a force of nature to be reckoned with, and I am glad for your tribute to her. When I get home, if I can find my pictures, I will send them. Warm regards, Barbara Zimmerman

I just suffered a loss in my family. I purchased the book and couldnt put it down. Ive always believed in Heaven but it just seemed like some far away place that you just worshiped all the time. You brought Heaven right down to earth and made me really want to go there. It has changed how I view the earth now. Im noticing my surroundings alot more. Im telling everyone they need to read this book.

In this time of world sorrow, I found this book so helpful. I bought all of my nine children one. I found each page to be uplifting. It reminded me of studying Bible History as a child. However, it answered more questions for me. Thank you for writing such a book. I could not put it down and want to share it with as many people as possible. God bless you for your time and effort. I am sure you will influence many.

A delightful book! As a physicist I would add only one comment: When a person dies he or she leaves time and enters eternity. In eternity the interval between putting off one's old body and putting on the new is only "a moment, the twinkling of an eye." I'm looking forward to meeting you there!

This imaginative, vibrant picture of Heaven has stimulated my own thinking and what was monotonous has now become an exciting and colorful place.

I thought Destefano wrote about many things about heaven that we actually do not give any thought to. It was enlightening.
